GET Café, a cornerstone of the GETincluded program, is a vibrant public coffee shop that provides hands-on employment and employment training for adolescents and adults with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions. Our tailored, individualized programs utilize a therapeutic approach with behavioral therapy and occupational thearpy in partnership with Thomas Jefferson University College of pay trainees Connecticut's minimum wage, plus a daily meal allowance.

We partner with local employers to secure competitive, integrated jobs for our employees and volunteers near their homes—prioritizing roles in hospitality, retail, and community services. Through GETincluded's lifelong network, we maintain strong ties with alumni and employer partners, delivering ongoing mentoring, advocacy, and skill-building workshops as careers evolve and needs shift.

GET Café operates at break-even, sustained by daily coffee sales and generous support from patrons, individual donors, and foundations. Every dollar received is reinvested directly into expanding GETincluded's opportunities—such as advanced certifications, job placement services, and community events—for our thriving community of neurodivergent adults.
