Our permanent home
We’ve secured a building at 301 Haverford Avenue, just a short walk from our current café. This will become the long-term home of GET Café, designed specifically for the work we do.
The goal: $1.5 million
25% raised of $1,500,000.
We have the building. We know the need. We have a plan. What stands between GET Café and its next chapter is the capital to finish the job. These funds complete the buildout of our forever home and sustain the new programs for three years.

Construction and equipment, kitchen build-out, and the additional staff needed to grow, including a full-time occupational therapist and a chef.
Commercial kitchen & café buildout: $495,000. Demolition, site prep, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, finishes, soft costs, overhead and contingency.
Equipment: $150,000. Kitchen, café and training equipment needed to operate at full capacity.
Programming staff, first 3 years: $855,000. A full-time occupational therapist and support staff, a chef and support staff, operations, marketing, communications and donor relations.

What the new café makes possible
Once the new café opens we plan to expand workforce training, add a catering program, and eventually help people move into jobs beyond the café. Your support now makes that growth possible.
2026: capital campaign and construction. 2027: new location opens with an expanded menu. 2028: workforce training program. 2029: corporate catering launches. 2031: employment pipeline.
